SA Championship 2008

Where: Chess Centre, 10 Ranelagh St, Adelaide 5000
When: Tuesday 5th February 2008
Number of rounds: Nine rounds, Round Robin
Rate of play: 90 minutes + 30 seconds per move from start of game
Entry fee: $90 before 11pm Saturday 2nd February ($100 afterwards).
Free entry to GM,WGM,IM and WIM applicants.
Start time: 7:00pm
Prize money: First prize: $500
Other conditions: Qualification limits may apply, and the organisers reserve the right to transfer players to the candidates tournament.

If less than 9 qualified entrants, the event may be combined with the candidates tournament.

The games will be FIDE rated.



NOTE: On-line entry before the early-bird date makes you eligible for the early-bird rate, but you will not be placed in the draw until payment is made. All players should check in, in person, at least 15 minutes before the start of the first round, so that the draw can be calculated as soon as possible.
