SA Candidates 2008

Where: Chess Centre, 10 Ranelagh St, Adelaide 5000
When: Tuesday 5th February 2008
Number of rounds: Nine rounds, Swiss
Rate of play: 60 minutes + 30 seconds per move from start of game
Entry fee: $80 before 11pm Saturday 2nd February ($90 afterwards).
Start time: 7:30pm
Prize money: First prize: $200, Other prizes: As determined by entries.
Winner qualifies for 2009 SA Championships.
Other conditions: If there are less than 9 qualified entrants in the championship, that event may be combined with the candidates tournament.



NOTE: On-line entry before the early-bird date makes you eligible for the early-bird rate, but you will not be placed in the draw until payment is made. All players should check in, in person, at least 15 minutes before the start of the first round, so that the draw can be calculated as soon as possible.
